大正4(1915)年、4代目太刀川善吉が応接専用室として増築。玄関上のコリント式円柱の柱頭にはアーカンサス葉状の飾りや2階の軒下にある装飾性の強い彫りなど、随所に大正の華やかさを感じさせる歴史的建造物です。

In 1915 (Taisho 4), the fourth-generation Zenkichi Tachikawa expanded the residence with a special reception room, adding refined Taisho-era flair throughout the building. The Corinthian columns at the entrance are topped with decorative acanthus leaf motifs, while intricate carvings embellish the eaves on the second floor, highlighting the era’s ornate style.
